Brings back the good old days
Locker 2s are the best out there. They turn better than Stage 11s
Right away when I set them up, they felt great.
Being able to switch the wheelbase around was a huge plus for me, especially since I’m a shorter guy. It really helped me get my setup feeling just right.
The thing I was most curious about was the lock-ins. As soon as I got to the skatepark, the first thing I wanted to do was 50-50 a flat bar and see how they felt.
I had a pretty new set of trucks on my board before these, and I vividly remember those first few grinds feeling sketchy while they were breaking in.
With these Grind Kings, though, the very first grind felt good. They honestly already felt broken in. I never got that “new truck” feeling that we all know. They locked in great right away, and I felt comfortable on them almost instantly.
I’m definitely looking forward to putting more sessions on them, but so far they’ve been everything I was hoping for.
These trucks are sick!!! The turn radius feel so much tighter than other truck. Also the bushings blow my mind. Somehow they feel like they have good resistance even when set loose. They do not have that lack of support feeling most trucks have when set up kinda loose.
Haven't ridden them yet, but swapped out for some hard bushings, looking forward to putting them on my '91 Jr from polar
